Genius Printing offers two levels of service - Standard and Professional.
For most orders, the Standard Service is the way to go. All your questions can be answered by reading our website, you can chat to our live support staff, or call us to ask questions about our products and services. All options such as scanning, low DPI upsizing, etc are available through the Standard Service.
However, if the answer to your question isn't on our website or you want to do something that the Smart Uploader (our online ordering system) can't do, then it's likely you'll need the Professional Service. For only 15% more you get a dedicated specialist who will work in the way you want to get the result you want. That's still 22% lower than the average canvas price of our competitors and a far better service.
So, the difference is not in the options available, or the quality of materials, but in the service level. You select the level of service when you place an order or simply call us to request the Professional Service. We'll also let you know if you'll need the Professional Service to get the result you want.

The Smart Uploader (our ordering system) will allow you to upload your image, select a size and canvas type, select from vaiours options, view an online proof, pay for and submit an order.

Online SmartProof
|
|
|
|
After uploading your file and selecting a frame size, the Smart Uploader will show you an instant online SmartProof. This will show exactly where your image will wrap around the frame, in the various wrapping options.
If you don't like the proof, you can select another frame size or upload another image.

In addition to the online SmartProof, the Professional Service gives you the ability to reject the proof with instructions on how we should change your image.

Genius Printing offers 4 wrapping styles on stretched canvases: A standard Gallery Wrap, Genius wrap (mirrored wrap), No Wrap or Pixel Bleed

Sometimes, on a stretched canvas, a custom wrap is required. For example, a Genius Wrap may work well for all but the top edge of the image. In this case we'd manually create the wrap for the best result.

Image manipulation

|
|
|
As part of the Smart Uploader, you can select any or all of the following options for no extra cost:
- convert to black & white
- convert to sepia
- adjust brightness / contrast
- adjust colour balance
- straighten horizon lines
- remove red-eye, date stamps, noticeable scratches
- brighten dark areas of the image
- move your image around the canvas

Image manipulation
|

|
In addition to the image manipulation options as part of the Standard level of service, our graphic designers will double-check your selections and make advanced manual changes such as adjusting the colour levels, if required.
We can also quote on touching up portions of the image, or performing any creative work you ask for.
If there's anything you didn't ask for that we think is a good idea, we'll run it by you first and then do that as well.

Almost any frame size you like

While we have 10 basic stretched canvas sizes, you may select any frame size you like from 6" to 84".
You can order just the canvas, unstretched so you can stretch it yourself.

We use only kiln-dried, dense pine imported from New Zealand. We also use bevelled stretcher bars to make sure the frames don't create a visible impression on your canvas.
