Many people haven't heard of or seen canvas before and really have no idea what it's like. So we offer a free sample of our canvas as it helps people feel confident that the result will be as expected.
Papers on the other hand are a bit different - unlike canvas, we offer four types of papers, so if we do a free sample on one kind of paper, the question still remains for the customer: "what would it look like on another type of paper?". Clearly we can't do free samples on ALL papers. We'd go out of business!
That's why, for $23 we have a sample pack which includes all of our papers (and even the canvas) so you can compare them all and make a decision from there. The price includes postage.
